Program description
instore Technologies, Inc. (“instore”) sends transactional SMS messages to consumers who place hold-to-try reservations through the instore platform. These messages provide reservation confirmations, status updates, hold reminders, and hold release notifications.
instore does not send marketing messages, promotional offers, or any content unrelated to your reservation. This is a transactional messaging program only.
How you opt in
When you place a hold-to-try reservation on a merchant's product page, you provide your phone number and consent to receive SMS messages about that reservation. A clear disclosure is presented at the time of reservation, stating:
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from instore regarding your reservation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
Consent is not required as a condition of purchase. You may choose not to provide a phone number, though you will not receive SMS updates about your hold.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your reservation activity. Typically, you will receive 1–4 messages per reservation (confirmation, optional reminder, status update, and/or release notification).
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. instore does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any SMS message from instore to immediately stop receiving messages. You will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out. No further messages will be sent unless you place a new reservation and provide consent again.

Your hold at [Store Name] is confirmed. [Item] is reserved for you to try in-store. Reply STOP to opt out.
Reminder: Your hold at [Store Name] expires in 24 hours. Visit us to try [Item]. Reply STOP to opt out.
Your hold at [Store Name] has been released. Thank you for using instore. Reply STOP to opt out.
[Store Name]: Your item is ready for you to try. Come in anytime today. Reply STOP to opt out.
instore: Your reservation at [Store Name] was updated. Reply HELP for info or STOP to unsubscribe.
Compliance
All SMS messages are sent through A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person, 10-Digit Long Code) registered campaigns in compliance with carrier requirements, The Campaign Registry (TCR), and CTIA guidelines.
